Third Coast Family Dentistry was formerly known as Johnson Family Dentistry, which was proudly owned and operated by Howard and Dave Johnson for more than 50 years. When Dr. Jared Hector assumed ownership in May 2021, he chose to retain the Johnson Family Dentistry name to honor the practice’s legacy while guiding the office through a thoughtful transition from one family to another.

After nearly a year and a half, the practice became Third Coast Family Dentistry. Third Coast is a name inspired by the Great Lakes, which hold deep meaning for Dr. Hector and his family. While the name has changed, our commitment to the core values, compassionate care, and high standards established by the Johnson family remains the same.

In March 2025, Third Coast Family Dentistry merged with Dr. Hubbard’s office, allowing us to expand our team, resources, and ability to serve our community while maintaining the personalized, family-focused care our patients expect.
